Overview
CONSNANT delivered 1KVA pole-mounted outdoor UPS power solutions for the road monitoring project in Burkina Faso, West Africa. The outdoor UPS units are directly mounted on monitoring poles, supplying continuous, stable power for road surveillance cameras and transmission equipment. This deployment ensures 24/7 uninterrupted operation of the traffic monitoring system, even amid frequent grid instability and harsh outdoor climate conditions in the region.
Project Background
Burkina Faso is accelerating the construction of urban road security monitoring networks. Local power grids suffer from voltage fluctuation and unexpected power outages. Once power fails, roadside cameras and signal transmission devices will go offline, resulting in loss of real-time road video data and weakening public security management capabilities. Traditional indoor UPS cannot adapt to high temperature, dust and rain exposure in open-air roadside environments. The project required compact, pole-installable power backup equipment with strong environmental adaptability, to protect monitoring nodes distributed across multiple road sections.

CONSNANT adopted 1KVA pole-mounted outdoor UPS for this project. The integrated power cabinet is designed for direct installation on monitoring poles, no extra machine room required.
