Outdoor UPS Deployment for Traffic‑Light and Surveillance Camera Applications, Kuwait
A custom‑engineered outdoor UPS solution has been successfully deployed to support traffic lights and surveillance camera systems across Kuwait.
This 1 kVA / 800 W unit operates at 36 VDC, integrated with three internal 12 V 9 Ah lead‑acid batteries. Built inside an IP55‑rated enclosure fitted with dedicated ventilation, the UPS reliably performs within ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 45 °C. Once fully charged, the system delivers a minimum 90‑minute uninterrupted backup runtime under a 200 W load.
