Description

CNG310 series low frequency online UPS is manufactured by CONSNANT, covering rated capacities of 10KVA-100KVA. It adopts double-conversion online VFI topology with built-in output isolation transformer, SCR thyristor rectifier and IGBT inverter. Designed for mission-critical loads including IDC data centers, hospitals, banking & securities clearing centers, traffic control systems and industrial process control equipment, this series features outstanding anti-interference, overload and shock resistance performance. It delivers clean, low-noise sine-wave power and supports standalone operation or parallel redundant expansion for high-reliability power supply systems.

1. Double Conversion Topology with Output Isolation Transformer for Superior Power Quality

Continuous inverter power supply under online mode, with built-in EMI input & output filters. The low-frequency isolation transformer eliminates mains surge, harmonic interference and high-frequency zero-line noise, greatly reducing zero-ground voltage to secure stable operation of medical instruments and network devices. Built-in back-feed protection prevents reverse energy damage to municipal power grid. Full microprocessor digital control equips static automatic bypass and manual maintenance bypass for zero-break switching during faults or maintenance.

2. Ultra-Low Input Harmonics to Cut Distribution & Generator Investment

Standard sinusoidal harmonic absorption filter restricts input current THDi below 5%, input power factor ≥0.92. The low distortion remains stable regardless of grid impedance and load types, avoiding resonance with power capacitor banks. It allows smaller sizing of upstream distribution transformers and diesel generators, saving overall power system cost. Separate rectifier and bypass power input is supported for dual independent AC power sources without extra galvanic isolation.

3. Intelligent Full-Range Battery Management to Extend Battery Lifespan

Multi-protection battery system including deep discharge cut-off, temperature-compensated charging, automatic & manual battery test functions. Standard 384VDC DC bus voltage compatible with VRLA AGM, gel and NiCd batteries. Controlled charging current and AC ripple voltage less than 1% slow down battery aging; external battery cabinets can be connected to extend backup runtime to several hours.

4. Strong Overload & Shock Load Compatibility

0.9 output power factor perfectly matches ICT and industrial loads; 3:1 crest factor adapts to lighting, motor and other impulse loads. Tiered overload protection: 110% rated load for 5 hours, 125% for 10 minutes, 150% for 1 minute. High short-circuit withstand capacity ensures compatibility with all kinds of industrial transformer loads.

5. Parallel Redundancy & Flexible Capacity Expansion

Up to 6 units can be connected in closed-loop parallel for N+1 redundancy. The parallel system keeps stable operation even if one communication cable is disconnected. Users can add extra UPS units anytime to expand power capacity without upfront over-investment. Economy mode boosts system efficiency up to 98% to reduce energy consumption under stable mains conditions.

6. Comprehensive Monitoring & Multi-Protocol Communication Interfaces

Multi-language color LCD touch panel stores 128 event logs to display real-time voltage, current, alarms and working status. Hardware interfaces include dual RS232 ports, RS485, SNMP expansion slot and EPO emergency power off terminal. Standard Watch & Save 3000 monitoring & shutdown software supports Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and all mainstream Unix systems; TeleNetGuard remote maintenance system enables global real-time monitoring with plug-and-play PC connection. Generator interface automatically adapts to frequency & phase deviation of diesel generators and optimizes battery charging logic.

7. Wide Installation Adaptability & Reliable Protection

Rectifier input does not require neutral wire to fit all standard 3-phase distribution systems. Independent input, bypass, output and maintenance breakers plus battery fuse are pre-installed, with copper bus terminals for high-current wiring. IP20 protection degree, operating temperature range 0℃ ~ +40℃, relative humidity ≤95% non-condensing, noise ≤65dBA at 1m. Black integrated metal cabinet with rigid industrial structure.

What is Low Frequency Online UPS?
Low frequency online UPS adopts traditional analog circuit design, consisting of SCR thyristor rectifier, IGBT inverter, bypass circuit and power frequency step-up isolation transformer. Its rectifier and transformer operate at 50Hz, hence the name low frequency UPS. It applies VFI double-conversion online topology, with the inverter continuously powering loads. The output isolation transformer provides complete galvanic isolation and superior anti-surge & anti-interference performance.
What are the core differences between low-frequency UPS and high-frequency UPS?
1.Structure: Low-frequency UPS integrates built-in output isolation transformer; high-frequency UPS has no isolation transformer and relies on high-frequency switching devices for voltage boost. EMI performance: High-frequency UPS generates high-frequency harmonic current on neutral wire with high neutral-ground noise voltage; low-frequency UPS delivers much lower zero-ground voltage without high-frequency clutter, ideal for medical and precision network equipment. Load adaptability: Low-frequency UPS features stronger overload, impulse and short-circuit withstand capacity for motors and industrial surge loads; high-frequency models only suit standard light IT loads. Dimension & weight: Low-frequency UPS is bulky and heavy; high-frequency UPS is compact, lightweight with lower unit price. Application: Low-frequency for IDC, hospitals, industrial and financial high-reliability sites; high-frequency for small office single-point equipment.
Does the UPS support parallel expansion? What is the maximum parallel quantity?
Closed-loop parallel function supports up to 8 units of the same series for N+1 redundancy. The parallel system remains stable even if one communication cable is disconnected. Users can add extra UPS units anytime to expand capacity without over-investment in advance. Max efficiency reaches 98% under Economy Mode.
How to extend UPS backup runtime?
Connect multiple external battery cabinets to expand backup duration by increasing battery capacity. The unit integrates temperature-compensated charging, deep discharge protection, auto & manual battery test functions to reduce battery loss.
Why backup runtime is much shorter than before?
1.Aging batteries, damaged single cell, leakage or bulging; Excessively high actual load rate; Abnormal battery charging circuit with insufficient charging. Solutions: Test battery voltage, replace aged batteries, reduce load, inspect charging module.
