Description

CONSNANT SVG 3P3W/3P4W-RM Series Rack Mount Static Var Generator (SVG) is a modular three-level inverter reactive power control equipment with rated compensation current ranging from 50A to 200A, corresponding to 50kVar/100kVar/150kVar compensation capacity. It supports 3-phase 3-wire and 3-phase 4-wire wiring, applicable to 220VAC/400VAC/690VAC power grids and compatible with 50/60Hz frequency.

Designed for standard rack mounting, it can be combined with floor-standing and wall-mounted SVG units. Equipped with full digital control system based on high-speed DSP+FPGA and 35kHz high-frequency IGBT chips, it realizes millisecond-level dynamic reactive power compensation, three-phase unbalance correction, voltage regulation and harmonic filtering. It compensates both inductive and capacitive loads simultaneously without over-compensation or under-compensation, stably lifting system power factor up to 0.99. It serves as a core all-in-one power quality solution for industrial, commercial and municipal power networks.

 

Main Features:

  • 3-level NPC Topology with High-frequency IGBT: Max switching frequency up to 35kHz. Compared with traditional 2-level inverters, its output current waveform is closer to standard sine wave with lower heat and power loss, and maximum efficiency reaches 97.5%.
  • Ultra-fast Dynamic Response: Instant current response<50μs, total system response<5ms. It completes compensation adjustment instantly under sudden load changes without delay.
  • Full Digital Intelligent Control: Dual-core DSP+FPGA processor tracks load fluctuations in real time. Users can customize compensation priority among reactive power, three-phase balance and harmonic filtering, supporting single or combined power quality treatment.
  • Integrated Multi-function Power Quality Improvement: Simultaneously performs reactive power compensation, voltage fluctuation & flicker suppression, three-phase unbalance correction and 2nd–13th harmonic filtering, solving multiple grid disturbances with one unit.
  • Compact Modular Rack Structure: Standard rack layout with ample internal heat dissipation channels and forced fan cooling. Max 5 units can be paralleled (customizable for larger capacity), easy for capacity expansion and maintenance.
  • Stable Operation Under Wide Working Conditions: Complete hardware & software protection. Standard operating temperature: -10℃~+40℃; derate 2% per 1℃ above 40℃, max allowable temperature 50℃. No derating below 1000m altitude, customized version available for high-altitude areas.
  • Standard Communication & Expansion: Built-in RS485 communication, digital input and relay alarm output terminals, compatible with upper monitoring system for remote data and fault checking.

Compared to traditional capacitor compensation cabinets, what are the core advantages of SVG?
Traditional capacitor banks are prone to resonance, low compensation accuracy, and cannot harmonize harmonics and three-phase unbalance. Adopting 3-level NPC topology, our SVG has no resonance risk, stepless precise compensation, and can realize reactive power compensation, voltage stabilization, harmonic treatment and three-phase unbalance correction simultaneously, suitable for all non-linear load scenarios.
Does the device support bidirectional compensation for both capacitive and inductive loads?
It supports bidirectional stepless compensation, adapts to both inductive and capacitive loads, and automatically adjusts reactive power dynamically, completely avoiding over-compensation and under-compensation of traditional compensation equipment.
What voltage levels does this rack-mount SVG support?
The standard voltage is 400VAC, with optional 220VAC and 690VAC specifications, suitable for various low and medium-low voltage power distribution scenarios.
