Description
EPCS500 Series 500kW BESS PCS Cabinet is a string-type high-power bidirectional power conversion system developed by CONSNANT exclusively for battery energy storage systems (BESS), optimized for microgrid and industrial & commercial stationary energy storage applications. Integrated in standard RAL7035 industrial cabinet, it adopts three-level modular power electronic architecture with four independent 125kW power modules in parallel, supporting multi-cluster battery access to eliminate battery circulation current. The unit realizes bidirectional energy conversion between DC batteries and 400V AC grid, compatible with grid-tied, off-grid island and multi-unit parallel microgrid operation. Equipped with LVRT/HVRT, virtual synchronous generator (VSG), black start and other grid-friendly functions, it has passed multiple authoritative certifications including GB standard, IEC, CE and ISO. With IP55 protection grade and intelligent air cooling, it operates stably under wide temperature range and high altitude conditions, serving as the core power equipment for industrial & commercial energy storage, new energy matching, off-grid microgrid and grid auxiliary frequency regulation.

Core Functional Features:
Supports parallel access of 1/4/8 battery clusters with built-in circulation current suppression algorithm to avoid current bias among parallel battery packs, perfectly matching large-capacity LFP battery cabinets.
Independent operation of three-level power modules ensures continuous operation under single-module failure. The maximum efficiency reaches 98.5%, cutting energy loss during charge & discharge and improving energy storage revenue.
Built-in LVRT and HVRT functions, supporting continuous four-quadrant adjustment of active and reactive power. It actively suppresses grid harmonics and three-phase unbalance, meeting strict grid connection standards worldwide.
Integrates three operation modes: VSG virtual synchronous generator, PQ constant power grid-tied, VF constant voltage & frequency off-grid. It supports off-grid multi-unit parallel connection and system black start for island microgrid and emergency power supply during outages.
Multiple standard communication ports enable real-time remote monitoring of charge/discharge power, battery status and equipment faults. Remote parameter configuration, automatic fault alarm and tracing are available for unattended operation.
Complete protection logic including overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuit, overtemperature, overload, anti-islanding and DC reverse connection protection, together with intelligent fault diagnosis to fully secure batteries, PCS and back-end loads.
