Description

TS-4850H is a 1U rack-mounted high-voltage MPPT solar charging module specifically designed for CONSNANT communication. It is developed for 48V communication base stations, edge rooms, integrated power cabinets, and photovoltaic energy storage communication systems. It belongs to the category of high-power DC-DC photovoltaic charging units, with the low-voltage version of the same series being TS-4850L.

• Standard three-stage charging logic: constant current bulk charge → constant voltage absorption charge → float charge, with equalization function to desulfate lead-acid batteries and extend service life.
• Customizable charging voltage curves, compatible with flooded lead-acid, sealed gel and 48V lithium iron phosphate batteries.
• Built-in temperature compensation function, automatically adjusts charging voltage under high/low ambient temperature to avoid overcharging or undercharging.

4. 1U Hot-Swappable Modular Design for Easy Expansion & Maintenance
• Standard 1U plug-in size, mechanically compatible with telecom high-frequency rectifier modules for mixed installation in one cabinet.
• Multiple TS-4850H modules support parallel current sharing to increase total system charging capacity on demand.
• Front lock buckle and quick plug terminals, single module can be replaced without shutting down the whole cabinet.
• Integrated air duct and intelligent temperature-controlled fan: low-speed silent operation at low temperature, full-speed heat dissipation at high temperature.
5. Comprehensive Multi-Level Electrical Safety Protection
• PV side protection: input overvoltage, undervoltage, reverse connection, short circuit and anti-reverse current.
• Battery side protection: output overvoltage, undervoltage alarm, overcurrent, short circuit and reverse connection.
• Whole machine protection: over-temperature power derating / shutdown, module current limiting, anti-circulation, lightning surge protection compliant with IEC61000-4-5.
• Hierarchical fault response: minor faults auto-recover; severe overvoltage triggers latch protection, reset by power cycle.

What are the core differences between the TS-4850H and TS-4850L?
TS-4850H is the high-voltage model with PV input 200–450V, supporting multi-string high-voltage PV modules, ideal for high-power & long-distance wiring projects with lower line loss. TS-4850L is low-voltage type with PV input 68–150V, suitable for small single-string PV arrays and safer wiring construction. Both share the same rated charging current 52A, rack dimension, communication protocol and battery compatibility.
What is the communication interface? Can it be integrated with the environmental monitoring system in the data center?
It adopts isolated RS485 port with standard Modbus-RTU protocol, compatible with environment monitoring system, local upper computer and remote O&M platform. Real-time data including PV voltage/current, battery voltage, charging power, temperature and fault alarms can be uploaded continuously.
In what scenarios is the TS-4850H better than the TS-4850L?
TS-4850H is preferred for projects with multi-series PV strings, long wiring distance, high total PV power and demand for lower cable cost & transmission loss, such as large 5G aggregation base stations, industrial & commercial high-voltage PV storage, large-capacity off-grid power stations on islands.
