The TS-4850L series low voltage solar charge controller module is a rack-mounted MPPT maximum power point tracking photovoltaic charging unit specially developed for 48V communication DC power supply systems. Adopting a digital DC-DC boost topology, it supports low-voltage PV module access and provides intelligent charging management for 48V lead-acid and lithium iron phosphate battery packs in off-grid and hybrid solar-storage power supply scenarios. With a standard 1U hot-swappable rack design, the module can be mixed-installed and parallelly expanded with communication rectifier modules. It supports lossless hot-swap technology, which allows plugging and unplugging with power without interfering with normal system operation, eliminating system power-off during maintenance and greatly reducing operation and maintenance costs and downtime risks. Intelligent current sharing parallel connection is supported, with a maximum of 6 modules paralleled in a single system. It can be mixed-installed with 48V rectifier modules of the same series in one power cabinet to realize an integrated hybrid power supply solution of solar energy and mains electricity.

Built-in 4-stage intelligent charging logic (constant current fast charging, constant voltage equalizing charging, floating charging and balanced charging) is compatible with various batteries including maintenance-free lead-acid batteries, gel batteries, flooded batteries and 48V lithium iron phosphate batteries. Equipped with a battery temperature compensation function, it automatically adjusts the charging voltage according to ambient temperature to avoid overcharging and undercharging, greatly extending battery service life. It supports automatic power derating protection at high temperature to ensure stable operation in extreme temperature environments.
4. Comprehensive Safety Protection
It is equipped with complete multi-level electrical protection, including PV reverse connection, battery reverse connection, input and output short circuit, over current, over voltage, over charging and anti-backflow protection. It adopts a smart temperature-controlled speed-adjustable fan, matched with dual thermal protection of high-temperature power derating and over-temperature shutdown to avoid equipment damage caused by high temperature. The built-in night anti-backflow circuit completely prevents reverse discharge from the battery to PV modules and avoids power loss. Integrated TVS lightning and surge protection adapts to complex field electromagnetic environments.
5. Industrial-grade Communication & Monitoring
Equipped with an isolated RS485 communication interface and standard Modbus-RTU protocol, it can be seamlessly connected with computer room environment monitoring systems and upper computer management platforms. It uploads real-time core operating data including PV voltage, PV current, battery voltage, charging power, module temperature and fault alarms. LED indicator lights on the panel display the status of operation, charging, fault and communication intuitively. The built-in isolated 5V auxiliary power supply can stably supply power for external sensors and acquisition devices.
